Design
Form follows function in our design practice. Before we set pen to paper, we weigh the client’s needs and lifestyle, the site’s unique constraints and possibilities, and all potential for efficiency. Our attention to these details carries forward from design into construction and land management. This flow is dynamic and responsive. The client is engaged in all design revisions as priorities shift and opportunities arise. Clear communication and interaction are key to our success, whether we’re creating the initial conceptual drawings or implementing construction document sets.
A large part of our landscape architectural services is to compose site development permits for various cities here in Texas. From multi-family projects, commercial developments, to single family, we work closely with engineers and architects to meet municipal code requirements for building permits.
Construction
Well-conceived plans and responsible project management ensure that construction of the client’s project goes smoothly. Our highly trained craftsmen collaborate with our landscape architects to incorporate the client’s ideas. As a full-service landscape architecture firm, we have special expertise in grading and drainage, masonry, steel work, carpentry, planting, irrigation and lighting. Working with locally sourced stone, plants and other materials, our construction team respects the property and environmental conditions to reduce impacts. The result is a living dwelling that is built to endure.
Land Management
Landscapes evolve and require care to stay beautiful. Recognizing this, we offer our clients long-term land management and landscape maintenance services tailored to their needs, lifestyle and budget. From routine upkeep to helping the client plan expansions or major changes to their outdoor living spaces, we are a reliable partner in every aspect of the client’s vision.

Stephen Breaux
FOUNDER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Stephen Breaux founded Breaux Design Group in 2004. Those initial clients still hire our firm, a testament to the expertise and commitment we bring to all projects. Our work has appeared in the Austin American Statesman, luxe. magazine, Tribeza, Spectacular Texas Outdoor Living, and Austin Monthly. As principal, Stephen is involved in every stage of a project, from analyzing the site to devising a maintenance plan. He is a professional landscape architect (#2598TX) and earned his B.S. in Landscape Architecture in 2003.
